Man of Steel conquered the box office with an estimated $125.1 million over the weekend.

According to boxofficemojo.com, Man of Steel made:

“$113.1 million during the traditional Friday-to-Sunday period, and another $12 million from Thursday night group sales. That’s the second-best opening of 2013 so far behind Iron Man 3, and it’s a new record for highest opening ever in June ahead of Toy Story 3 ($110.3 million).”

Man of Steel fans who are attending San Diego Comic Con 2013 can capitalize on the action by purchasing an action figure set.

According to usatoday.com,

“Mattel will have a exclusive Man of Steel Movie Masters set ($50) available at San Diego Comic-Con July 18-21 that features action figures of Superman (played by Henry Cavill) — complete with plastic spit curl — and Kryptonian villain General Zod (Michael Shannon).”

If you haven’t seen the new Man of Steel movie, you’re truly missing out. But there’s still hope.

Keep Calm and Watch Man of Steel
