New Netflix Offer Could End Family Feuds Over TV

Does your television set inspire more fights over what to watch than viewing pleasure? If so, then you’ll be happy to hear about the new Netflix family plan that allows four shows to be simultaneously streamed on one account – allowing people living under one roof to watch what they want while others do the same.

According to a report on The Huffington Post quoting from a Netflix quarterly letter to shareholders,

“CEO Reed Hastings and CFO David Wells introduced a $11.99-per-month plan that allows four users to stream simultaneously in the U.S. The current plan that Netflix offers for $7.99 per month limits streaming to two users.”

So, not only is the new plan a great option for families who all have their own TV tastes and schedules, it’s also great for subscribers who share their accounts with others. Users don’t have to worry as much about getting kicked off the site for having too many people logged in as they now have the option of having up to four viewers on one account at the same time.

Whether you have a family that disagrees on what to watch or cheap friends that want to use your account for free, the new Netflix plan is a great solution.

Do you plan on signing up for the new Netflix family plan?
